28 - Emotional Clearing

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse & Jeane Stern.

In our polite modern society, we don't always express our emotions freely. By blocking or suppressing emotions, we may cause them to surface in inappropriate or disproportionate ways. Thus, a small frustration may eventually feel hopeless, or we may project hostility onto strangers. These blocked emotions can turn into confusion, fear, physical tension, and more. Thus, it's very important to clear our emotions, so that we can express ourselves in healthy ways -- within our own selves, to our friends and loved ones, and in our daily lives.

Use this meditation anytime you feel overwhelmed, stuck or frustrated. These feelings are often a sign of blocked emotions. As you intentionally release these stuck feelings in meditation, you may find them replaced by a fresh sense of clarity, calm and purpose.
